Deck overview

T'Challa, the Black Panther helms a Selesnya midrange deck built around artifact synergies, +1/+1 counters, and equipment-aided combat. The primary game plan involves casting T'Challa early, generating Vibranium tokens for artifact-only mana, and casting high-mana-value artifacts to pump the commander with +1/+1 counters. Equipment like Colossus Hammer, Umezawa's Jitte, and Swiftfoot Boots turn T'Challa into a potent commander-damage threat, while token generators such as Big Mother Mouser and Hangarback Walker provide a secondary go-wide path augmented by Divine Visitation and Overwhelming Stampede. The deck lacks infinite combos but compensates through recursion via Conduit of Worlds and Loyal Retainers, alongside limited board-level protection from Teferi's Protection and Dora Milaje Elite.
