Connive Til You Thrive by bigears606

Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Doctor Doom, King of Latveria leads a Grixis discard-burn deck that turns every discard into direct damage. You loot and cycle lands to trigger Doom's land-discard drain and a network of pingers - Brallin, Skyshark Rider, Glint-Horn Buccaneer, Magmakin Artillerist, Faith of the Devoted, Feast of Sanity and Cool but Rude - doubled by Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and Wound Reflection. Villains connive for selection and counters while Bone Miser, Currency Converter and Surly Badgersaur generate mana, cards and Treasures. Wins come from grinding incremental pings or assembling a Curiosity loop where damage draws into more discards for infinite burn.
