Deck overview

This deck is an Esper spellslinger and life-drain engine led by Y'shtola, Night's Blessed. The strategy focuses on casting noncreature spells with mana value 3 or greater to drain each opponent for 2 damage and gain 2 life, while generating steady card advantage whenever players lose 4 or more life in a turn. The early game establishes acceleration through 2-CMC mana rocks and cost reducers like Lyse Hext alongside disruptive deterrents like Lavinia, Azorius Renegade and Kambal, Consul of Allocation. In the midgame, the deck leverages high-impact artifacts like Bolas's Citadel, The Reality Chip, and Sensei's Divining Top to churn through the library. Protected by silence effects such as Grand Abolisher, Teferi, Time Raveler, and counterspells, the deck converts high storm counts into game-ending life totals with Aetherflux Reservoir, eliminating all three opponents with consecutive 50-damage activations.
