Deck overview

This is an Orzhov Dragon-tribal midrange deck built around Estinien Varlineau. The plan is simple: cast cheap noncreature spells to turn the commander into a growing flyer, attack with him and a flight of Dragons, then use his second-main-phase trigger to convert every opponent hit into cards. The deck backs the beatdown with a real acceleration package (Sol Ring, Signets, Diamonds, Dragon's Hoard, Smothering Tithe, Black Market Connections) and a deep recursion subtheme via Scourge of Nel Toth, Ebondeath, Dracolich, Boneyard Scourge, Guardian Scalelord, and Ancient Brass Dragon. Wins are combat-driven: alpha strikes with Akroma's Will and Sylvia Brightspear double strike, supplemented by Kokusho, the Evening Star drains and Brainstealer Dragon theft. There are no infinite combos - the deck grinds, protects its board, and closes with flying inevitability.
