Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Kaalia of the Vast commands an aggressive Mardu deck designed to cheat devastating Angels, Demons, and Dragons onto the battlefield far ahead of the mana curve. The primary game plan accelerates Kaalia onto the board with haste and protection, attacking immediately to deploy lethal threats such as Master of Cruelties, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, and Terror of the Peaks without paying their mana costs. Secondary paths leverage extra combat steps from Aurelia, the Warleader and Scourge of the Throne to trigger Kaalia multiple times, or deploy Armageddon to lock in an insurmountable board lead. The deck overwhelms opponents through aerial combat and damage multiplication.
