Commander: Marchesa, Dealer of Death

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Grixis crime deck grinds value through Marchesa, Dealer of Death, turning every targeted removal, counterspell, or mill spell into card selection, then wins with two distinct infinite loops. The primary plan pairs any Niv-Mizzet (Parun, Visionary, or the Firemind) with Curiosity or Tandem Lookout to create infinite draw and ping damage. The secondary loop uses Forsaken Miner plus Goblin Bombardment and Pitiless Plunderer, where each crime-triggered sacrifice generates Treasure to rebuy Miner for infinite 1-damage pings. Marchesa is a pure value engine, not a combo piece, while Kess, Dissident Mage and the Niv-Mizzets act as hidden commanders that recur spells and close games.
