Rootha, root of all tokens

Format: Commander

Commander: Rootha, Mastering the Moment

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Rootha, Mastering the Moment turns every instant and sorcery cast in a turn into a big flying Elemental at combat. The deck's primary plan is to multiply Rootha with clone effects, then cast the highest-mana-value instant or sorcery available, ideally Furygale Flocking or Magma Opus, so each copy creates multiple large tokens. Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer converts the resulting token pile into copies of the biggest Elemental, turning a few tokens into a lethal flying horde. Secondary lines use Loki and Nanogene Conversion to turn every creature into Rootha copies mid-turn, or Surge to Victory to pump and copy spells during combat.
