Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Wolf typal midrange strategy helmed by Chief of the Wilds. The commander acts as both a rapid +1/+1 counter beatstick and a trigger doubler for every Wolf and battle on your battlefield. Early turns focus on ramping into Chief of the Wilds, quickly followed by potent Wolf token producers like Nightpack Ambusher, Chief Warg's Company, and Hollowhenge Overlord. Trigger doubling rapidly compounds board presence, flooding the battlefield with 2/2 Wolves while growing the commander into a towering threat. Once a critical mass of creatures is assembled, the deck finishes opponents in a single swing using lethal mass-pump sorceries such as Overwhelming Stampede, Overrun, and Triumph of the Hordes. A dense collection of low-cost protection spells ensures key pieces survive opposing removal.
