Deck overview

This Bant midrange deck helmed by Helga, Skittish Seer aims to turn casting large creature spells into a self-reinforcing engine of mana, card draw, and +1/+1 counters. Helga rewards each creature spell with mana value 4 or greater by drawing a card and growing, while her tap ability produces a flexible amount of mana proportional to her power, directly fueling the next big spell. The deck supports this loop with a suite of high-value creatures like Chulane, Teller of Tales, Tatyova, Benthic Druid, and Braulios of Pheres Band, and finishes through overwhelming combat power via Overwhelming Stampede or Knowledge Is Power. A secondary synergy with Peregrine Drake and bouncelands provides a potential mana engine, while Seedborn Muse and Leyline of Anticipation unlock flash-speed plays. The strategy is linear but cohesive, leaning on the commander as the primary accelerator.
