Deck overview

This Naya deck weaponizes +1/+1 counters by turning every counter placement into direct burn damage using Shalai and Hallar. Supported by a robust mana ramp package, the deck curves cleanly into its commander on Turn 3 or 4 alongside versatile counter enablers like Hardened Scales, Biophagus, and Ozolith, the Shattered Spire. Its primary win plan leverages exponential damage multipliers and decisive infinite combos, most notably The Red Terror, which forms a deterministic damage loop with the commander to eliminate the entire table instantly. Alternatively, heavy-hitting engines like Kalonian Hydra, Cathars' Crusade, and Sovereign Okinec Ahau generate massive bursts of direct damage while building an overwhelming combat board. To ensure consistency through removal and board wipes, the list runs an elite suite of protection spells, including Heroic Intervention, Teferi's Protection, Deflecting Swat, and Rhythm of the Wild, giving it high resilience across multiplayer tables.
