Lorehold, the Historian by happycatmeow35

Format: Commander

Commander: Lorehold, the Historian

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Boros spellslinger deck is helmed by Lorehold, the Historian, who grants every instant and sorcery in your hand miracle {2} and provides a repeatable discard-to-draw trigger during each opponent's upkeep. The primary game plan is to leverage Lorehold's miracle discount to cast high-impact spells cheaply, while fueling a suite of discard payoffs (Monument to Endurance, Inti, Seneschal of the Sun, Currency Converter) that generate card advantage, treasures, and token creatures. The deck wins through explosive finishes: Approach of the Second Sun (cast twice at miracle cost), Insurrection (steal all creatures for a one-shot kill), Storm Herd (overwhelming flying tokens), or a massive Sunbird's Invocation/cascade chain that dumps value onto the board. The commander's haste and flying also provide a steady commander-damage threat, but the deck's heart is spell-slinging and discard synergy.
