Deck overview

This Golgari deck leverages Baba Lysaga, Night Witch to convert multi-type permanents into massive card advantage, life gain, and symmetric opponent life drain. By running a high density of dual-type cards like artifact creatures, enchantment creatures, and artifact lands, the deck consistently satisfies Baba Lysaga's three-type requirement with minimal sacrifice investment. Untap engines such as Sting, the Glinting Dagger and Tyvar, Jubilant Brawler allow Baba Lysaga to trigger on opposing turns, multiplying draw and drain output. As the engine compounds, aristocrat payoffs like Syr Konrad, the Grim, Marionette Apprentice, and Sothera, the Supervoid turn every sacrifice into lethal board control and rapid life total depletion, closing out games by Turn 8.
