Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue Polymorph control list commanded by Jalira, Master Polymorphist. The construction strategy strictly limits nonlegendary creature cards in the 99 to exactly two monstrous finishers: Blightsteel Colossus and It That Betrays. Early turns focus on accelerating mana via 2-drop artifacts and generating noncreature token fodder through living weapons, amass spells, and creature lands. On Turn 3 or 4, the deck deploys Jalira and immediately activates her ability to cheat an 11/11 game-ending threat directly onto the battlefield. Backed by a dense package of low-cost counterspells and targeted protection, the deck protects its single threat while dismantling opposing win conditions. Library-manipulation spells such as Brainstorm and See Beyond ensure that any naturally drawn giant threats can be shuffled back into the deck to preserve Jalira's guaranteed tutor hits.
