Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Izzet Spellslinger and Storm strategy commanded by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi functions as both a table-wide burn engine and a burst mana generator, gaining +1/+1 counters and dealing 1 damage to each opponent whenever a noncreature spell is cast. The deck's primary engine attaches damage-triggered draw effects like Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or Tandem Lookout to Vivi. Because Vivi damages all three opponents on every cast, each cantrip draws three fresh cards, providing massive card velocity. Once Vivi accumulates counters, its free {0} mana ability converts its power into a large mana pool to facilitate storm turns using Underworld Breach, Storm-Kiln Artist, and Grapeshot, or to execute a two-card infinite combo with Niv-Mizzet, Parun. Supported by dense cantrips, flexible low-cost interaction, and stack protection, the deck reliably assembles its engine on Turn 4 and closes out the table on Turn 5.
