Deck overview

This is a mono-black Aristocrats deck helmed by Jerren, Corrupted Bishop, built around generating token fodder, sacrificing creatures for value, and converting every death into life drain. The primary engine is the classic drain loop: a free sacrifice outlet plus a Blood Artist-style payoff plus a recursive body, which goes infinite and closes the game. Life total is treated as a resource throughout - K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth, Necropotence, Bolas's Citadel, and Peer into the Abyss all convert life into cards and mana. Secondary wins include a big-mana Torment of Hailfire/Exsanguinate finish off Cabal Coffers/Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, a devotion-fueled Gray Merchant of Asphodel, and Jerren's transform into Ormendahl, the Corrupter as a flying beatdown closer. The deck is dense with tutors and recursion, making it a resilient, grind-oriented combo deck that can pivot between infinite drain and explosive life-payment lines.
