Deck overview

Atraxa, Praetors' Voice spearheads a tap-and-lockdown control deck that paralyzes opposing boards with stun counters and planeswalkers. By using spells like Freeze in Place and creatures like Fear of Sleep Paralysis, the deck taps down opposing threats, while Atraxa proliferates those stun counters to ensure enemy creatures never untap. Meanwhile, Hylda of the Icy Crown and Solitary Sanctuary generate creature tokens and board-wide stat buffs from every tap action. Atraxa and your planeswalkers steadily tick up toward decisive ultimates like Tamiyo, Field Researcher and Vraska, Relic Seeker, ultimately sealing victory through unblockable combat damage, lethal token swarms, or game-ending planeswalker emblems.
