Deck overview

This mono-blue artifact deck is led by Leonardo da Vinci, focusing on token generation, card filtering, and explosive aerial beatdown. The deck develops its mana base through mana rocks and cost reducers before casting Leonardo on Turn 3. On Turn 4, Leonardo loots away expensive artifact threats like Myr Battlesphere, Graaz, Unstoppable Juggernaut, or Meteor Golem, converting them into flying 0/2 Thopter copies. As the board fills with Thopter tokens from cards like Sai, Master Thopterist and Thopter Spy Network, the deck maintains a full hand using card advantage engines like Padeem, Consul of Innovation and Shimmer Dragon. On Turn 6, Leonardo's second ability ({3}{U}{U}) turns the entire Thopter swarm into massive X/X flyers equal to hand size, overwhelming the table with evasive combat damage. While the deck lacks hard tutors and free counterspells, its high redundancy and resilience allow it to rebuild smoothly and pressure opponents effectively.
