Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir midrange strategy centered around Raul, Trouble Shooter, utilizing rad counters, self-mill, and opponent mill to generate continuous card advantage and board presence. The deck uses efficient 2-CMC mana rocks to establish Raul early, turning self-milled cards into virtual card advantage each turn. As rad counters accumulate on opponents through cards like Bloatfly Swarm, Nightkin Ambusher, and Nuclear Fallout, opponents lose life and mill cards at the start of their precombat main phases. The mid-to-late game pivots into token swarms and mill acceleration using Vault 12: The Necropolis, Screeching Scorchbeast, and Phenax, God of Deception, buffed by lords like Hancock, Ghoulish Mayor. The list packs flexible interaction, including Drown in the Loch, V.A.T.S., and Notion Thief, providing solid answers while executing an attrition-based win on Turn 8.
