Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Izzet Chaos archetype spearheaded by Neera, Wild Mage. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating into Neera, then casting cheap cantrips to trigger her ability, tucking the small spells to spin into massive high-mana sorceries, enchantments, and creatures. The list embraces high-variance, game-altering effects such as Possibility Storm, Warp World, Thieves' Auction, and Grip of Chaos to disrupt conventional game states and randomize table progression. Because it eschews efficient tutors and infinite combos in favor of theme-heavy coin flips and chaotic parity swaps, its lethal clock is slow and diffuse, winning predominantly through token generation from Ovika, Enigma Goliath, commander swings from Okaun, Eye of Chaos, or catastrophic attrition. The deck excels at introducing unpredictable variance and invalidating opposing linear strategies, but suffers from low interactive density, high commander dependence, and an inability to cleanly close out games rapidly.
