Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Mardu aggro deck commanded by Kaalia of the Vast. The core game plan accelerates into an early Kaalia deployment, using her triggered ability to cheat game-ending Angels, Demons, and Dragons onto the battlefield tapped and attacking for free. High-priority hits like Master of Cruelties can eliminate an opponent in a single swing, while cards like Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, and Rakdos the Defiler create massive asymmetric swings in board presence and life totals. To support this high-cost creature lineup, the deck features redundant reanimation spells and Sneak Attack as backup engines. Free interaction spells like Deflecting Swat and Deadly Rollick protect the commander and remove blockers while tapping out. The deck excels at rapidly eliminating opponents one by one through evasive combat damage, backed by efficient tutors and targeted disruption.
