Deck overview

This Boros deck combines Dragon tribal aggression with blink synergies, led by the partner pairing of Ganax, Astral Hunter and Far Traveler. The strategy accelerates on early turns using efficient mana rocks and cost reducers to deploy Far Traveler on Turn 3 and Ganax on Turn 4. Ganax generates Treasure tokens on entry and whenever another Dragon enters the battlefield, while Far Traveler blinks a tapped Dragon every end step to double dip on ETB triggers and mana generation. On Turn 5, the deck transitions into lethal onset by resolving high-impact Dragon payoffs like Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, or Utvara Hellkite. These threats deal direct burn damage upon entry and rapidly amass an evasive aerial army. Supported by efficient white removal, stack interaction, and mass blink protection, the deck reliably closes out games by Turn 7.
