Deck overview

This Mardu aggro deck utilizes Fire Lord Zuko to convert impulse draw and exile-cast effects into exponential board power. By exiling cards with engines like Prosper, Tome-Bound, Bonehoard Dracosaur, and Tavern Brawler, every spell cast from exile distributes +1/+1 counters across your entire creature army. Zuko's firebending ability generates substantial red mana during combat to cast exiled spells immediately, fueling further mid-combat buffs and token generation. Evasive enablers such as Abzan Falconer and Pia Nalaar, Consul of Revival allow the deck to bypass ground blockers, while cards like Quintorius Kand and Passionate Archaeologist provide direct burn. With a robust package of targeted spot removal and asymmetric sweepers such as Damning Verdict, the deck clears obstacles while developing a decisive clock that typically closes games around Turn 8.
