Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is led by Captain America, Team Leader, focusing on an aggressive Hero tribal strategy powered by +1/+1 counters and immediate combat pressure. The commander grants every entering Hero haste, vigilance, and a +1/+1 counter while growing itself, creating an efficient and fast-moving engine. The deck curves out low-cost Heroes into powerful combat enablers like War Machine, Avenging Arsenal, Captain America, Wings of Freedom, and Door of Destinies, allowing wide boards to quickly deal lethal combat damage. Card velocity is maintained through repeatable engines such as Director Nick Fury, Jarvis, Earth's Mightiest Butler, and Kindred Discovery. To safeguard its board against mass removal, the deck relies on premier phasing spells including Teferi's Protection, Clever Concealment, and Ripples of Potential. In addition to standard combat lines, the deck contains an infinite combat loop using Aggravated Assault and Sword of Feast and Famine, offering a sudden alternative win condition.
