Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Grixis Villain-tribal deck is built around Doctor Doom, King of Latveria's land-discard drain. The hidden commander is Norman Osborn // Green Goblin; when flipped, his back face gives every nonland card in the graveyard mayhem, turning the graveyard into a second hand. The deck plays a critical-mass game: cheap Villain-cost reducers, connive/loot triggers, and enter/attack draw effects fill the graveyard while incidentally burning opponents. The primary finish is a hasty Villain swarm-Living Laser and copy effects-backed by Doom's repeated land-discard damage; Doctor Doom, Unrivaled provides a slower empty-library alternate win. The commander is the primary life-loss engine and combat connive enabler, so keep him alive while grinding into a wide board.
