Deck overview

This deck is a Jund forced-combat and damage-redirection engine helmed by Thantis, the Warweaver. The game plan revolves around giving opponents creature tokens using cards like Hunted Troll, Hunted Horror, and Forbidden Orchard, and then forcing those creatures into combat with Thantis, the Warweaver, Fumiko the Lowblood, or Kardur, Doomscourge. As creatures battle, the deck leverages indestructible damage reflectors like Brash Taunter, Stuffy Doll, and Wrathful Raptors, or enchantments like Repercussion, to turn combat damage and symmetric damage sweepers into direct life loss for opponents. Massive board wipes like Blasphemous Act and Chain Reaction deal lethal damage directly to players through these redirection engines. Meanwhile, card draw engines like Deathreap Ritual and Harvester of Souls reward the constant creature mortality, ensuring a steady stream of gas to close out the game quickly.
