Deck overview

This mono-black Aristocrats deck is commanded by Arnyn, Deathbloom Botanist, turning the death of small creatures (power or toughness 1 or less) into asymmetric 2-life drains and life swings. The game plan focuses on establishing early mana acceleration, deploying cheap recursive creatures or token generators such as Ophiomancer, Jadar, and Bloodghast, and sacrificing them to free outlets like Viscera Seer, Woe Strider, and Yahenni. Backed by secondary drain engines like Blood Artist and Zulaport Cutthroat, the deck rapidly drains all opponents while keeping its own life total elevated to feed cards like Toxic Deluge and Plumb the Forbidden. While lacking compact infinite combos or stack interaction, the deck grinds out opponents through consistent incremental damage, graveyard recursion, and resilient token production.
