Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jund -1/-1 counter "wither and steal" deck helmed by The Reaper, King No More. The plan is to blanket the board in -1/-1 counters, convert every counter placed into a token army (Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons Snakes, Nest of Scarabs Insects, Flourishing Defenses Elves), and turn every death into value: card draw via The Scorpion God and Auntie Ool, Cursewretch, theft via the commander and Necroskitter, and life drain via Blood Artist and Poison-Tip Archer. The deck wins through infinite loops - Blowfly Infestation death chains, the Yawgmoth, Thran Physician + Hapatra draw engine, or Basalt Monolith + Forsaken Monument infinite mana feeding Contagion Engine proliferate - all funneling into a drain outlet. It is a midrange value deck with combo finishes, resilient but slow to assemble its lines.
