Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Gruul engine deck led by Agatha of the Vile Cauldron. The strategy focuses on inflating Agatha's power using +1/+1 counter engines, power multipliers, and high-impact enchantments such as Raised by Giants and Innkeeper's Talent. As Agatha grows, her ability reduces the activation costs of all creatures you control down to a single mana. This reduction transforms utility creatures like Duskwatch Recruiter into rapid card engines and turns expensive activated abilities on cards like Bhaal's Invoker, Silvanus's Invoker, and Walking Ballista into lethal finishers. The deck establishes its mana and early counter synergies to assemble an operational engine by Turn 4. By Turn 6, it reaches critical onset, capable of burning the entire table in a single turn with Bhaal's Invoker or overrunning opponents with 8/8 trample haste land creatures. Instant-speed protection and resilient counter scaling help maintain pressure against opposing interaction.
