Deck overview

This deck is an idiosyncratic mono-red control and burn strategy piloted by Norin the Wary. Because Norin exiles itself whenever any player casts a spell or attacks, it re-enters the battlefield at every single end step up to four times per turn cycle. The deck converts these harmless flickers into lethal inevitability using enter-the-battlefield damage sources such as Purphoros, God of the Forge, Terror of the Peaks, Pandemonium, and Warstorm Surge, alongside token generators like Genesis Chamber. To protect its engine and disrupt opposing game plans, the list unleashes asymmetrical chaos staples including Confusion in the Ranks, Possibility Storm, and Price of Glory. Confusion in the Ranks is especially devastating: Norin steals an opponent's creature every turn, only to exile itself and return under your control to steal another. The deck bypasses traditional creature combat to burn all three opponents simultaneously while locking down the board.
