Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Grixis wheel and group slug strategy commanded by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. The plan centers on deploying low-cost punishers that trigger whenever opponents draw or discard cards, then casting symmetrical wheel spells to deal massive burst damage across the entire table. Mana rocks and rituals accelerate Nekusar or setup enchantments like Waste Not and Liliana's Caress onto the battlefield by Turn 4. On Turn 5, casting spells such as Windfall, Wheel of Misfortune, or Dark Deal inflicts 14 to 21 damage per opponent while completely resetting hands. The deck can lock opponents out of the game entirely using Notion Thief or pivot into an instant kill with the Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity infinite combo. A robust suite of 1- and 2-mana counterspells protects key spells during critical turns, ensuring the deck closes out the game by Turn 6.
