Deck overview

This Boros deck combines Dwarf tribal synergy, Equipment, and Treasure production to overwhelm opponents through combat and burn. Led by Thorin Oakenshield, the deck quickly builds toward the Storied threshold of three historic permanents, granting its army and artifacts protective ward {1}. Low-cost creatures like Magda, Brazen Outlaw, Dwalin, Weaponmaster, and Kíli the Resourceful establish early board presence and generate resource flow. By Turn 4, the deck assembles its core engines, setting up explosive Turn 5 turns where finishers like Thorin, King of Durin's Folk or Balin, Loremaster pump the team and deal direct damage. The deck plays high-tempo removal such as Swords to Plowshares and Dispatch to clear blockers and remove opposing threats. While vulnerable to heavy sweeper spells, the list maintains resilience through cards like The Eagles Are Coming! and broad redundancy across its Dwarf roster.
