Kodama & Sakashima by lakes

Format: Commander

Commander: Sakashima of a Thousand Faces and Kodama of the East Tree

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Simic partner combo deck helmed by Sakashima of a Thousand Faces and Kodama of the East Tree. The entire game plan is built around the classic Kodama chain: get Kodama onto the battlefield, then have Sakashima (or any of the deck's clone effects) enter as a copy of Kodama - since Sakashima's "legend rule doesn't apply" clause lets both coexist, every permanent entering triggers both Kodamas, letting you chain-drop your entire hand. A land-bounce loop (Oboro Breezecaller, Meloku the Clouded Mirror, Simic Growth Chamber) converts this into infinite landfall triggers, which Lotus Cobra and Tireless Provisioner turn into infinite mana, and Walking Ballista turns into a table kill. Secondary paths are combat inevitability through Avenger of Zendikar, Scute Swarm, and Apex Devastator, plus a dense tutor suite to assemble the chain.
