Deck overview

This mono-red aggressive deck centers around Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos, weaponizing multiplayer turn structure by passing a growing, trample-equipped berserker around the table. Because Alexios attacks on every single player's turn and cannot attack its owner or be sacrificed, each table rotation yields four distinct combat steps. The deck accelerates Alexios onto the battlefield on Turn 2 or 3 using dense red rituals and fast mana rocks. Once deployed, equipment and combat multipliers such as The Sound of Drums, Fireshrieker, and Two-Handed Axe double the commander damage output, allowing Alexios to eliminate opponents in rapid succession. Supporting stax pieces like Blood Moon, War's Toll, and Silent Arbiter punish opposing mana bases and disrupt defensive blocking lines, clearing a path for lethal combat damage.
