Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai graveyard and landfall midrange strategy commanded by Teval, the Balanced Scale. The game plan focuses on filling the graveyard through self-mill creatures and dredgers, then triggering Teval's attack ability to ramp lands and generate a large army of 2/2 Zombie Druid tokens whenever cards leave the graveyard. The deck features strong secondary engines such as The Gitrog Monster, Muldrotha, the Gravetide, and Insidious Roots, which turn land drops and graveyard movement into continuous card advantage and board presence. It finishes games by assembling a critical mass of creatures and tokens, then resolving game-ending spells like Living Death, March of the World Ooze, Avenger of Zendikar, or Overrun while granting evasion through Wonder. An efficient removal suite of flexible instant-speed interaction keeps opposing threats in check during the setup turns.
