Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Green Stompy strategy centered around Ghalta, Primal Hunger. It accelerates mana on Turn 1 with efficient mana dorks, curves into aggressively statted low-cost beaters like Pugnacious Hammerskull and Steel Leaf Champion, and rapidly discounts Ghalta down to its minimum cost of {G}{G}. Once Ghalta hits the battlefield on Turn 4, the deck leverages high-power trigger engines such as Elemental Bond, Garruk's Uprising, and Rishkar's Expertise to draw massive amounts of cards. Combat dominance is achieved through devastating damage multipliers like Unnatural Growth and Overwhelming Stampede, turning a wide board of trampling behemoths into a lethal multi-opponent threat by Turn 6–7. While weak to well-timed board sweepers and counterspells, the deck boasts immense redundancy, high engine recovery, and overwhelming raw combat pressure.
