Commander: Alania, Divergent Storm

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a lean Izzet spell-copy combo deck built around Alania, Divergent Storm. The game plan is to spend the opening turns deploying cantrips, tax engines like Rhystic Study and Mystic Remora, and fast mana, then take a single explosive storm turn in which Alania duplicates the first instant and first sorcery cast each turn while Harmonic Prodigy and Veyran, Voice of Duality compound those copies into extra draws, mana, and storm count. The primary kill is an infinite-mana loop of Underworld Breach + Seething Song with buyback Reiterate, cashed into Crackle with Power, Explosion, or Ral, Storm Conduit pings; a Bonus Room variant generates unbounded copies, and a backup line empties the library via delve and draw spells to win with Thassa's Oracle. With a 2.42 average MV, 35 lands, Sol Ring/Mana Vault, and five rituals, the deck goldfishes a kill around turn five behind a dense countermagic suite.
