Deck overview

This five-color Commander deck centers on a synergistic +1/+1 counters and token strategy commanded by April O'Neil, Live on the Scene and Leonardo, the Balance. The game plan establishes early mana fixing and deploys April on Turn 2 to turn every Mutant, Ninja, or Turtle entry into a Clue token. Once Leonardo enters on Turn 4, every token creation places a +1/+1 counter across the entire board. Card draw engines like Danny Pink and Mikey & Leo, Chaos & Order convert counter placement into continuous card advantage. The deck rapidly scales creature power through doubling effects like Branching Evolution and closes out the game on Turns 5 to 6 using Leonardo's WUBRG trample and menace activation, Herald of Secret Streams, or Akroma's Will. A premium interaction and protection package—featuring Fierce Guardianship, Heroic Intervention, and Teferi's Protection—shields the board during critical combat turns.
