My Pal Ral! by Zallmithan

Format: Commander

Commander: Ral, Monsoon Mage // Ral, Leyline Prodigy

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Ral, Monsoon Mage's front face is the engine: it makes every instant and sorcery cost 1 less, letting the deck chain free cantrips and cheap rituals into a single explosive turn. The deck's primary kill is poison storm-Prologue to Phyresis then Radstorm-proliferating all opponents to 10 counters. The back face, Ral, Leyline Prodigy, is a secondary value and removal option, but the deck is built to keep Ral front-facing during the combo. Secondary routes use Ashling and Electro burn or high-storm Brain Freeze and Grapeshot. A dense set of counterspells and recursion protects the line. There is no hidden commander; Ral is the center of the plan.
