Deck overview

This Boros midrange deck helmed by Joshua, Phoenix's Dominant // Phoenix, Warden of Fire blends ETB-damage payoffs, proliferate, Final Fantasy Saga-creatures, and graveyard recursion. Joshua loots on entry, then transforms into a Saga Phoenix that pings the table and mass-reanimates low-curve creatures before flipping back-creating a repeatable value engine from the command zone. The primary win path is parallel table damage via Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, and Warleader's Call as tokens and Sagas flood the board, amplified by Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines and Panharmonicon. Secondary routes include poison/proliferate pressure, mill loops with Mindcrank and Altar of the Brood, and late Summon: Bahamut finishes. The deck plays as a grindy value machine that rebuilds through the graveyard rather than comboing off.
