Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Simic combo list centered on Prime Speaker Vannifar as a Birthing Pod engine in the command zone. It utilizes dense 1-mana and 2-mana ramp to deploy Vannifar on Turn 3. On Turn 4, the deck pairs Vannifar with Intruder Alarm, Thornbite Staff, or chained untap creatures (Corridor Monitor, Bounding Krasis, Giant-Sized Flying Ant) to tutor through mana values incrementally. The chain culminates in a lethal loop involving Protean Hulk, Woodfall Primus, Loaming Shaman, and Great Oak Guardian, which destroys all opposing noncreature permanents and pumps the board for an unblockable same-turn combat kill. Proactive hate pieces such as Collector Ouphe, Soulless Jailer, and Fatespinner slow down faster opposing strategies while the combo is assembled.
