Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai Elf tribal engine led by Maralen, Fae Ascendant. It combines classic green mana acceleration with black attrition and blue stack interaction. The primary strategy develops early mana dorks like Llanowar Elves and Elvish Mystic to deploy Maralen or Lathril, Blade of the Elves ahead of curve. As Elves enter the battlefield, Maralen exiles opposing cards and casts spells for free, compounding card advantage without consuming mana. The deck builds toward a Turn 6 critical onset, deploying lords like Thranduil, Sindarin Liege and team pumps such as Germination Practicum or Rydia's Return to execute a multi-turn combat kill. A natural two-card infinite combo between Intruder Alarm and Presence of Gond provides an alternate instant-speed win condition by generating infinite Elf tokens and triggering infinite Maralen exile triggers. Supported by flexible interaction like Force of Will and Assassin's Trophy, the deck blends proactive aggression with resilience.
