Deck overview

This deck is a Jund -1/-1 counters and aristocrats engine commanded by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. The strategy revolves around placing -1/-1 counters on both friendly and opposing creatures to generate card advantage and life drain. Early turns focus on accelerating mana through land-fetch sorceries and mana creatures before deploying Auntie Ool alongside token engines like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons and Nest of Scarabs. As the game transitions into the midgame, the deck suppresses opposing creature strategies using asymmetric stax pieces such as Kulrath Knight and repeatable sweepers like Carnifex Demon and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician. It seals victory either through accumulated drain from Obelisk Spider and All Will Be One, massive wide token attacks, or an infinite death loop with Blowfly Infestation and Nest of Scarabs. Robust graveyard recursion provides strong recovery against removal, though the absence of countermagic leaves it vulnerable to non-creature combos and mass exile effects.
