Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Orzhov deck, helmed by Killian, Decisive Mentor, is a focused Aura Voltron/Prison hybrid that seeks to dominate the combat step. The primary game plan involves deploying Killian, leveraging his ETB to tap and goad the most dangerous threat on the board, and then suiting him up with cheap power-boosting Auras like Ethereal Armor or All That Glitters to close out games via commander damage. The deck functions as an Enchantress shell, generating immense card velocity through Killian's attack trigger, Sram, Senior Edificer, Kor Spiritdancer, and Hateful Eidolon. Secondary paths to victory include draining the table with Eriette of the Charmed Apple combined with a full aura board and Wound Reflection, creating a devastating token army with Sigil of the Empty Throne or Archon of Sun's Grace, or a surprise Inkshield blowout. The deck's core strength is its redundancy and high enchantment density, but it suffers critically from a lack of stack interaction and reliable tutors, making its pace highly predictable.
