Deck overview

This deck is a Simic synergy build centered on The Astonishing Ant-Man. It translates raw card draw into +1/+1 counters and converts those counters into an overwhelming swarm of 1/1 green Insect tokens. The early game focuses on ramping into Ant-Man and establishing steady card advantage engines such as Teferi's Ageless Insight, Kindred Discovery, and Skullclamp. Once the commander gathers sufficient counters, it converts them into a massive board of Insects. The deck closes games by multiplying tokens with Doubling Season and Branching Evolution, then finishing opponents with combat overruns like Coat of Arms, Overwhelming Stampede, or Tanazir Quandrix. While the list excels at refueling its hand and going wide, it features a lean interactive package and relies on timely protection spells like Heroic Intervention to survive sweepers.
