Commander: Leonardo, the Balance

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This five-color Mutant Ninja Turtle deck leans heavily into token generation and +1/+1 counters as its core engine, leveraging Leonardo, the Balance to distribute counters across the board each turn. The primary game plan is to amass a wide army of Mutagen, Food, and creature tokens, then close out the game through one of several alternate win conditions: Happily Ever After (five colors, six card types, high life total), Simic Ascendancy (twenty growth counters), Halo Fountain (fifteen tapped creatures), or Approach of the Second Sun (the classic "cast twice" route). Combat is a secondary path, with Heroes in a Half Shell and Raphael, the Muscle providing trampling beatdown when counters pile up. The deck is a casual, highly thematic build that prioritizes synergy over speed, relying on gradual board development rather than explosive combos.
