Deck overview

Hofri Ghostforge commands a resilient Boros midrange deck built around death triggers, Spirit tribal buffs, and recursive token generation. Whenever nontoken creatures die, Hofri exiles them to create hasty, trample-empowered Spirit copies that return the original cards to the graveyard upon leaving the battlefield. This engine repeatedly triggers powerful death and leave-graveyard abilities on cards like Ao, the Dawn Sky, Atsushi, the Blazing Sky, and Ark of Hunger. The deck finishes games by generating a wide aerial army, utilizing mass reanimation through Storm of Souls, and delivering lethal combat damage with finishers like Moonshaker Cavalry and Mirror Entity.
