Deck overview

This is a Golgari Elf-tribal deck helmed by High Perfect Morcant, built to snowball from Elf-enter triggers and -1/-1-counter synergies. The commander's blight makes every Elf entry shrink opponent creatures, while its tap-three-Elves proliferate pushes counters around the board. The deck has two primary paths to victory: a fair go-wide plan where Lathril, Blade of the Elves, Elvish Archdruid, Imperious Perfect, and token producers create an overwhelming board, finished by Overwhelming Stampede or Skemfar Shadowsage; and a combo line where High Perfect Morcant plus Flourishing Defenses turns every -1/-1 counter into an Elf token, creating an arbitrarily large army that Lathril, Blade of the Elves can convert into lethal drain. It plays as a mid-tempo value deck with a dense threat base, meaningful recursion, and two board-level protection effects.
