Deck overview

This is a Mardu token-aggro/aristocrats deck helmed by Zurgo Stormrender. Zurgo's Mobilize 1 creates a tapped-and-attacking 1/1 Warrior each combat, and his second ability turns every token that leaves the battlefield into either a card draw (if it was attacking - the end-step sacrifice triggers this) or a 1-life ping to each opponent. This makes the commander a repeatable draw engine that fuels a wide token board. The primary win is combat: anthem effects like Goldnight Commander, Ogre Battledriver, and Hero of Bladehold pump a swarm of tokens, while drain engines Bastion of Remembrance and Mirkwood Bats bleed opponents out. Sacrifice finishers - Fling, Kazuul's Fury, and Essence Harvest on a pumped Juri, Master of the Revue - provide reach. Secondary lines include poison via Ria Ivor, Bane of Bladehold and Necrogen Communion, plus Massacre Wurm as a one-sided wipe.
