Deck overview

This Gruul deck is an Ape and Monkey tribal aggro strategy built around Kibo, Uktabi Prince. It leverages Kibo's ability to give all players Banana artifact tokens and turns those gifts into lethal offensive power. Whenever opponents sacrifice their Bananas for mana and life, or when this deck systematically destroys opposing artifacts with spells like Meltdown and Echoing Ruin, Kibo places +1/+1 counters on your entire primate board. The deck supplements this strategy with passive artifact hate, punishing opponents who rely on Treasures, mana rocks, or token generation via Manglehorn, Magnetic Mine, and Vengeful Tracker. Victory is achieved through overwhelming combat damage, using trample enablers such as Duskshell Crawler, Kessig Wolf Run, and Overrun to push past opposing blockers.
