New Rev by UmbralKins

Format: Commander

Commander: Rev, Tithe Extractor

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a mono-black combat-and-theft deck helmed by Rev, Tithe Extractor, built around a swarm of evasive, unblockable, and shadow creatures that connect early to trigger Rev's attack ability. Each successful hit creates a Treasure token and exiles the top card of that player's library, which the deck can then cast - turning opponents' own cards into the primary resource. The deck layers in a heavy artifact-treasure subtheme (Academy Manufactor, Bitterblossom, Black Market Connections) and a robust recursion package (The Soul Stone, Whip of Erebos, Nether Traitor) to grind out advantage. The primary win is incremental combat damage from evasive threats, with backup lines through Gray Merchant of Asphodel devotion drain, Mari, the Killing Quill treasure generation, and mass-theft effects like Heartless Conscription and Brainstealer Dragon. The commander is the engine that ties the whole plan together.
